Technology Center

Wanxiang Research Institute was approved as one National Class Technical Center in 1996. The Wanxiang Research Institute is comprised of eight different organizations as well as eight professional research organizations, including one Post-Doctoral Research Workstation, one High Tech Research Center and Wanxiang North America Technical Center in Elgin, IL. USA, etc. Wanxiang Research Institute plays a leading role in scientific and technological innovation, integrating investment, application and R&D. In 2000, Wanxiang Research Institute ranked No.2 among the similar organization in China. Meanwhile, Wanxiang Auto Ports Lab has been authorized as one National Class Laboratory with its test results being recognized by companies in more than 45 countries.  

                                     
After several yearscontinuous innovation, Wanxiang Research Institute has made many great achievements. Wanxiang Research Institute has registered 108 technical patens and has developed more than 300 new projects. Many achievements from projects have been put into the production. The main achievements include: the CIMS application which has been listed as in State 863 plan; the Automobile Shock Absorber project, Wheel Hub project and Spindle Unit project have been listed as State Torch Projects; Wanxiangs national Projects include: the Precision Clutch Bearing along with other three products; and there were 15 new products being listed as national Key New Products in 2001.
